Green Tomato Relish


The weather here is going to turn very cold tomorrow so Brad and I went out and picked all of or green tomatoes in preparation. I had made a recipe for green tomato bread and butter pickles from Martha Stewart in the past and we loved them. Here is the link:
So I reworked the recipe to make sweet relish and I love the way it turned out.


I washed the tomatoes and let them drain


I sliced them about 1/4 inch thick and them used an alligator vegitable chopper to get them into a small dice.

After making the syrup, I prepped all of my canning supplies.
